Terms and Conditions
Booking Conditions
Please read the following conditions carefully, as products and services sold by us are subject to these conditions unless otherwise agreed. Kizuna Travel Incorporated (hereafter referred to as 'we', 'our' and 'us' and the Agent (hereafter referred to as 'Agent', 'you' and 'your') agree that the terms and conditions for the services provided by us to you shall be governed by the Booking Conditions detailed below and that the said Booking Conditions shall form an entire part of the service contract, whether verbal or written, entered into between Kizuna Travel Incorporated and the Agent.

Validity
All prices quoted to you are on a net basis and in United States Dollars (USD) and are valid according to the date specified on our printed tariffs, quotations, and invoices issued to you. We warrant that the prices quoted to you are correct at the time of issuance of the quotation or invoice but are subject to change in line with market, tax or currency fluctuation without prior notice.

Reservation & Payment for Bookings
A 30% deposit is due to secure the booking. From time to time, an additional deposit may be required and the amount and reason for additional deposits will be advised at the time the
booking is confirmed. The balance remaining is due 60 days prior arrival.

Unless otherwise agreed by us, your payment should be executed by ACH or wire transfer to the Kizuna Travel Incorporated bank account detailed on the invoice. Any bank charges levied by the sending bank relating to transfers to Kizuna Travel Incorporated must be paid by the Agent.

All payments must be made as per the invoice and according to terms below else the booking will be considered void and your reservations will be released.

Client Documents
All bookings will be confirmed by email upon receipt of funds.  The confirmation email will constitute a written agreement and confirmation of all bookings.  Upon confirmation of booking, we require photocopied/scanned copies of passports of all persons in traveling party.

On arrival your clients will receive a welcome package issued by us on behalf of you as well as all necessary hotel information, train tickets, domestic airline tickets, and any other tour vouchers deemed necessary by us.  We will also provide your clients with a finalized, printed version of their travel itinerary. In cases where your itinerary contains additional edits, we must receive the finalized itinerary file by email 7 days prior to client arrival.

If you need us to issue additional documents on your behalf, please inform us in writing not less than 7 days prior to your client’s arrival.

Cancellation Policy
Any cancellations should be made in writing. Cancellations made from the time of booking to 31 days prior to the arrival of clients will be subject to cancellation fees of 30% of total tour cost (deposit amount), except those according to the policies of hotels, airlines and other contractors of Kizuna Travel Incorporated.  In instances where additional cancellation fees are incurred, we will provide you with copies of corresponding invoices upon your request.

Cancellations within 30 days or less prior to arrival will be subject 75% cancellation fees. No shows are subject to 100% cancellation fees.

If, for any reason, during your travel in Japan services are not used at you or your clients' discretion, there will be no refund.  This includes, but is not limited to, changing experiences, changing hotels, or cancelling guided touring days.

Cancellation By Kizuna Travel Incorporated
We will not cancel your travel arrangements less than 60 days before your departure date, except for reasons of force majeure or failure by you to pay the final balance due. Note that we cannot be held responsible for any non-refundable costs you incur through booking your own flights or otherwise should we be forced to cancel your trip.

If we cancel your travel arrangements for reasons other than the above, we will offer you compensation USD 50 per person in the traveling party. In the event of cancellation by us, you can either have a refund of all monies paid or accept an offer of alternative travel arrangements of comparable standard from us; if available (we will refund any price difference if the alternative is of lower value). For cancellation for any other reason than force majeure we will pay the above compensation, in addition to the deposit or part cost paid prior to cancellation.

Medical Conditions
You must inform us of any medical conditions your clients have prior to booking. Although we strive to accommodate everyone with disabilities, allergies, and other medical conditions, it is ultimately the responsibility of your clients to seek medical advice to confirm whether travel with us is appropriate with individual medical conditions. Acceptance of itinerary and confirmation of booking indicates that you have informed us that travel is safe for all in the booking party.

Claims
All disputes, claims and litigation regarding the Services shall first be settled by way of negotiation and mutual understanding. In the event such negotiation and mutual understanding would fail, the disputes, claim or litigation shall be finally settled by local arbitration in the United States. All claims must be submitted in writing within 30 days after the end of the Services.

Liability
We will always do our utmost to provide the Services to the best of our capacity and to the satisfaction of the Agent and their client. It is the understanding of the Agent that we act as an intermediary between the Agent and hotels, transport operators, local tourist offices and other contractors providing services to the Agent. We shall in no event be liable to the Agent, by reason of breach of services or unsatisfactory services provided to the Agent by third parties or by way of indemnity or in tort or otherwise, for any loss, injury, damage, delay, change in schedule or other adverse events which are beyond our control and/or sustained by an act or default of any person or company providing the Services to the Agent. The Agent warrants that we shall not be responsible and/or liable for additional expenses and/or damages incurred due to any delay, accidents, natural disaster, political action or unrest.
